Reservoir House
Cambridge, MA The modest street-facing elevation of this T-shaped house in the heart of Cambridge belies its generous size. Using vernacular New England forms and materials, we blended Shaker aesthetics and reclaimed wood with tectonics, glazing, and expressed connections so that old and new are having a conversation throughout the 7,000-square-foot structure. A glass connector unites the street-facing farmhouse volume with the larger volume behind. The project achieved LEED Silver.
